‚hconsidered Yukio Nakagawa as an avant-garde Ikebana artist because of his innovative work. In his artpiece "Flowery Priestess" he made a special glassware to seal nine hundred carnations and leave them to fermentation which changed finally to liquid.
I got interested what his motivation would be like to create Ikebana work in his everyday life.
Therefore I arranged an interview with him at the Kirishima Open-Air Museum on April 29th, 2003.
There he told me also about "the most important thing......."
